I like talking… a lot! So it was no surprise when I started a podcast last year. I loved it. I loved connecting with amazing people changing their financial lives. I loved talking about their journeys to debt freedom, their fears, their triumphs, and the reality of how complex each of our money journeys can be. But, when I began my podcast I didn’t know that I would be worn out by persistent tech problems and my podcast’s identity morphed and changed throughout the year. It was time to take a break.
Girl Gone Frugal (Again)
I’m excited to announce that I’ve relaunched my podcast! I’ve set up the show in such a way that I shouldn’t experience the technology problems that I struggled with last year. I’m very excited to start fresh and begin again. Girl Gone Frugal (again) is a podcast for those of you who:
- Aren’t naturally frugal…but you’re trying!
- Are working towards debt freedom
- Like to eat healthy food and don’t want to eat bad food on your debt freedom journey.
- Value people and are motivated to manage your money so that you can spend more time with the people that you love.
- Value travel
- Value health
- Don’t want to feel guilty about your vaguely hippy/hipster habits.
What will I talk about?
Anything and everything that is connected to personal finance. I’ve rebooted my debt freedom journey and I think that the podcast will be a great way to stay motivated and engaged during my debt repayment journey.
I will interview cool people that I know in the personal finance community, some relatives, and random people I’ve never met before but feel have amazing stories that I would like to share with you.
I will review financial tools, different money related subjects and answer listener questions. And, I can finally share my Nick Loper episode that I recorded but didn’t get published because of a technology fail that had me calling it quits for almost 7 months. I didn’t intend to take a break for that long.

Congrats Michelle! Based on your last podcast, I think this recent podcast is better. Hope you interview more cool people to talk about how to achieve financial freedom and responsibilities.

Thanks Jamie! Well, I spent a year making a lot of mistakes with the old podcast so I’ve learned a lot. I’ve also spent some time listening to other shows and I attended Podcast Movement which is THE conference for podcasters. I’m really glad that I went.
